Scott Joshua Dere has been using cameras since he was 5 years old. His first camera was a Film based Kodak Browning, which at that time was becoming outdated. It used 120 film and shot black and white pictures which he would develop and print in the basement of his Long Island home darkroom. At just 13 years old, Scott landed his first photography job. And, for the next 17 years, he worked with that studio, and many other studios to find different techniques used in the business, and other ways of working with people. During this time Scott attended college at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and received a BFA in the fine arts of Photography.
Art Photographers was opened in 2000 by Scott Joshua. During this time the company has amassed a huge list of satisfied clients. Art Photographers does a wide range of shooting from Weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs to Postcards, Websites, Catalogues,Portfolios, and Custom Designed Albums. The very best companies in the industry use both Scott and Art Photographers for their own personal portfolio work and events.
